A riding hall or riding arena, is a type of shed specifically designed for indoor horse riding and training. A Roys horse riding arena provides safe and dry conditions that enable riders to train horses regardless of the weather.

Without Column Obstacles and Without Compromise

A riding area should not have any obstacles, unless put there by a horse trainer. This is why a Roys riding arena’s frame structure is engineered, built strong, without internal supported columns, and without compromising the arena’s strength.

Illuminated

It goes without saying that a riding arena should be illuminated as much as possible during the day. This is why Roys Sheds recommends installing skylights; to ensure that the arena is lit up as much as possible and removing the need to make expensive artificial lighting arrangements, which horses can be sensitive to.

Roys riding arena shed range is designed, engineered and built to virtually any scale, layout or requirement, and purposed specifically for the training and well-being of horses.

Customisations

We offer large covered arenas, with options for partly or fully enclosed walls. As horse safety is a priority, we can also outfit the sides of riding arenas with conveyor belts that ensure your horses do not injure themselves.

Colour options are great way to liven up your shed. They can be applied to various parts and components, with some exceptions such as white PVC piping.

User Friendly Design

Designed by an engineer who has personally built well over 100 sheds, and in doing so, worked out the best way to design sheds that are user-friendly to build. We have used our experience from building sheds, to gradually refine our shed kits, making them easier to build. The end result of this refinement is a shed kit that is marginally harder to make, but much quicker to build.

Easier to Assemble, “Like Lego”

It is essential for businesses to have a goal. We decided that ours would be to make sheds that are easier to assemble on site. Putting more emphasis and care into the manufacturing phase reduces mistakes and results in less time spent on site.

What Makes Our Shed Kits Easier to Assemble?

Our shed kits use bolted connections instead of tek screws, even on our smaller sheds. We do still use teks for sheeting, to ensure that they are watertight.
