Roys Sheds is a family owned and operated company which supplies sheds to Perth and WA regional areas.

Steel Fabrication and Construction

Roys Sheds began as a company called Roys Steel. Headed by Roy Vlietstra, it opened in 1970 and was a steel fabrication and building construction business.

Building to Designing Sheds

After being passed down to the 2nd and 3rd generation, Roys Steel started trading as a shed building contractor. We also took on other miscellaneous jobs, most of which involved steel work. During this time, Roys Steel gained experience from building many different types of sheds and used this knowledge to start designing our own structures and in-house 3D shed software.

Supplying Sheds in Perth and to the Rest of WA

In 2014 we started trading as Roys Sheds and by mid 2015 we began supplying sheds as well as building. Since then, we have been supplying and building sheds from as close as our own backyard in Banjup (Perth) to as far as Newman WA.

Our Goal

Our goal as a shed supplier is to make shed kits that are structurally sound and easier to assemble. We do this by taking part in the whole process: design, supply and build. We also make sure our customers are informed and happy at each step of the way.

Qualifications

As a family run business we strive to innovate, and get as much experience and additional qualifications as possible.

Member of Engineers Australia

We are currently a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, and hope to soon become a chartered engineer.

Registered Building Contractor #101219

Roys Sheds has gone through the process of becoming a registered builder to uphold the standards conveyed by the Building Commission of Australia (#101219). This allows us to better assist our clients, offer advice and use our expertise to supply and build sheds.
